breaking old habits is hard to do

How many times I sat here to write a blog post and drew a blank.

The moments when I knew what to write about and then actually did it, are null and void.

My old style of blogging keeps getting in the way. The lifestyle blogger and business web designer rules of blogging keep coming flooding back. Why I let that get to me, I don’t know.

So, here I am again and just decided to blog it out.

breaking old habits can be fun

My mindset is to write about any and everything that comes to mind. When I started blogging back in 2010, words just flowed freely. Several years into blogging and the want to monetize my blog happened and changed the way I looked at blogging from the rest of my blogging career.

Time to break that habit.

I’m blogging for fun and not for money.

I need an escape for all these crazy thoughts in my head.

Do you know what it’s like to be 51 and single during a pandemic?

Holy Hannah! The stories I could tell! But I’m not sure you could handle those…..yet.

breaking old habits and making new ones

Mentally trying to retrain your brain can be difficult, especially if you hang with a bunch of pro bloggers. You don’t want to disappoint them and want to measure up to their expectations.

However, we don’t have the same mission as them.

We are in this to break the rules and have fun at it!

They are following rules, having fun at it, sharing knowledge, and making money.

Where do you want to be?

make your own habits

Non-conformance is a “thing” to me. I like to walk to my own beat, however, often get sucked back into what the “Jones’s” are doing.

“Stop it, Bren!”

Like I tell people all the time, don’t be a follower, be a Leader.

Set your own trends and stand by them.

Don’t allow others to deter you from your goals.

If your goal is to ramble on a blog post, so be it. Trust me. There is a reader for every blog out there.

Someone can always relate to what you are writing.

Let it out. Write it. Publish it. Share it.

Who’s with me?
